To those who still thinking about getting double eyelid surgery!! >0<

My eyes are originally not that small but I have hooded eyes. Despite these, as you guys can see in the picture, you can definitely see that my eyes look asymmetrical. 

Since I was in high school, I’ve done almost anything that possible to make it look symmetrical, such as using eyelid tape, double eyelid glue. I can say I’ve done it every day LOL

But it come with a price. My eyes started drooping, especially on my right eye…TT

But that doesn’t make me give up on the tape, ‘cuz if I didn’t do it, my eyes will look small, so I have no choice but to just keep doing it even though I know it is a vicious circle for me.

[Before surgery preparation]

While looking at the photos of the Instagram influencers, I also get to know about what kind of eyes styles there are as well. From that, I found a few of eyes style that were kinda similar to my eyelid tape + after makeup’s eyes shape, and let the doctor know about it. I showed it to him hehe The doctor also reassured me that he would try his best to make the outcome of my new eyes to be as similar as possible to the picture and the explanation about how I want it to be, that I told him during consultation.

It didn’t feel real until I went into the surgery room..by then, it felt so real once the anesthetist put in the anesthesia in and the nurse turned on the surgery room’s light ( ⚆ _ ⚆ ) I felt kinda afraid+nervous but thank God the nurses were so kind and they reassured me, calmed me down >< I took a deep breath and left to the dreamland without realizing it hahahah

[ During Surgery ]

I slightly remembered the director calling my name during the surgery. He woke me up probably because he wanted to check up the double eyelid line so it match with what I want^^ Then the doctor put in the anesthetic again and when I woke up next, I was already in the recovery room=D Even after I woke up, rather than thinking about the pain, I first wondered why time went by so quickly LOL probably because of the anesthesia 

[After Surgery]

The picture was taken right after I woke up from the anesthesia hehe you can see that the double eyelid line looks very natural, right! Even it is right after the surgery! I was so happy by that time and has the feeling that the outcome will be the one I want it to be! (/^▽^)/

The redness part was there till the 3^rd day after the surgery and after the stitches are removed and as I recovered quite quickly--maybe my body really good at handling surgery LOL – or maybe because my doctor is really good at doing it, after a week something like that, I already can do all my daily activities like usual without problem & my boyfriend, shockingly, he couldn’t remember how I was before the surgery cuz my eyes really look natural ^0^ I am so excited!!

[2 week]

10 days after the surgery, I started putting on light makeup rather than heavy makeup. As the doctor’s instruction, every day I apply some ointment, just a thin layer of it at the surgery area. And to my surprise, the scars at the area do becoming light and not that visible! Yeay!

Sooo in conclusion, before this, I didn’t feel the need to do the double eyelid surgery cuz I really relied on the double eyelid tapes every time BUT after I got it done.. WOW! I am sure can see the difference when I look at my eyes with the tape^-^ The line looks natural while also make my eyes look bigger and vivid!!!

To those who has been sticking to double eyelid tape like me before, you’ll probably feel a HUGE difference after the surgery!

And to those who didn’t know much about plastic surgery (like me LOL), study and find the style that you want, preparing various sample materials or info first are important as well but the doctor skill is actually the most important part of the success or failure of the surgery. I myself, I booked and waited for a few months before get the surgery from my doctor at Jewelry PS~So like me, I really recommend that you take some of your time and think about it, then when you feel sure, then you get the surgery done^^ To be honest, I’m very satisfied with the fact that this surgery really help in cut my preparation time in the morning (too much time taken when I relied on the double eyelid tape before =[ ) but I kinda regret as well as I didn’t get it done sooner LOL I should have get it done sooner if I know it is so convenient hahah
